BTC Daily

# BTC Daily Five independent Bitcoin Yes/No markets expire together **every day at 08:00 UTC**. The ladder includes a middle strike and two strikes on either side. The market's on-chain text names **the Hyperliquid BTC perp trade price** and the 90 seconds ending at expiry. Read the strike and expiry on the individual market: they are fixed when it is minted. ## At a glance | | | |---|---| | Question | Will BTC be above the strike at 08:00 UTC? | | Price reference | The Hyperliquid BTC perp trade price, as named in the market's terms | | Strikes | Five thresholds; the current daily ladder uses $500 spacing | | Rungs | 5 independent Yes/No markets sharing one expiry | | Cadence | Daily at 08:00 UTC, including weekends | | Lifetime | One daily round, approximately 24 hours | | Settlement window | The 90 seconds ending exactly at expiry | | Payout | Yes if the settlement value is strictly above the strike; equality and below pay No | | Concurrency | 5 markets for one daily expiry | | Deploy cost | 5 registrations/day | ## Strikes The live ladder for **October 28, 2026 at 08:00 UTC** was: | Strike | Outcome ID | |---|---:| | $79,000 | 18275 | | $79,500 | 18274 | | $80,000 | 18271 | | $80,500 | 18272 | | $81,000 | 18276 | These are a dated example from mainnet, not fixed strikes for future rounds. Every rung has its own book and pays independently. Multiple Yes tokens can win; a ladder is not a set of mutually exclusive price ranges. ## Schedule The daily expiry is fixed at **08:00 UTC**. It does not move with New York daylight saving time. The [hourly](/markets/btc-hourly) and [four-hour](/markets/btc-4-hour) markets can also expire at that instant; the hourly no longer skips 06:00. The older two-wing 06:00 UTC pair and the subsequent three-rung noon-New-York ladder describe previous schedules. The current daily has five strikes and an 08:00 UTC expiry. ## Resolution The `binaryPrice` template asks whether the named price is **above** the threshold at the published expiry, using the specified 90-second average. The observation interval is `(07:58:30, 08:00:00]` UTC. A post-expiry price is not substituted for this window, and the winning side is determined using the computed value rather than a rounded chart label. The published delisting fallback uses the BTC settlement price at delisting if the perp is delisted before the market settles. Settlement is separate from expiry; the market need not pay at exactly 08:00:00. The on-chain price description and window are authoritative. A candle chart is not, by itself, a reproduction of the settlement calculation: candle averages and trade-stream VWAPs are distinct measurements. See [Price feeds](/price-feeds/overview) for that distinction.
